The Best Spring Break Locations For Teachers

Teacher Travel Locations + Spring Break Travel

Do you want to know the best spring break locations for teachers? This blog post is sure to inspire you to find the destination of your dreams. I’ll break it down by affordable options, girls’ trips, and more costly options. I’m equally as passionate of a traveler as I am a teacher, obvious by the blog posts found here, so consider me your teacher travel bestie. Let’s get started!

Warm Weather Destinations

The Florida or Alabama Gulf Coasts

If white sandy beaches with warm weather is what you’re looking for, look no further than the Gulf Coast. Orange Beach, Alabama is one of my favorites because it has beautiful beaches with a bustling amount of options to choose from. You can even drive to the famous Flora-Bama Bar which is located right on the state line for some rowdy Southern fun.

If you want a more relaxed location where you can just sit on the beach all day and hang by the beach fire at night, Cape San Blas, Florida may be the place for you. It’s located about an hour and a half away from Panama City Beach which makes flying into the area easy if you rent a car. The beach is also pet friendly, so skip the boarding costs and bring your pup along for the trip with you.

Southern California

Perhaps you want to head to the West Coast. If that’s the case, I recommend San Diego, California. Beautiful year-round, you likely won’t have to worry too much about how the weather will be on your trip. SoCal is known for warm, sunny weather and little rain. There’s plenty to do and great food to eat. You can also find relaxing beaches in which to relax. You’ll come back knowing why San Diego gets so much hype.

The Ultimate Girls’ Trip Destination

Napa Valley, California

Oh beautiful Napa! I took a Spring Break trip here with teacher friends in 2022, and it may be the best Spring Break trip I’ve ever taken. Cool, Northern California weather; farm to table restaurants; wineries galore- what’s not to love? There’s plenty to do in Napa Valley, so if wine isn’t your thing, you’ll likely still enjoy it! If wine is your thing, check out these three wineries I think you shouldn’t miss while you’re there.

Miami, Florida

Miami is always a good idea in my opinion, but especially if you’re looking for some fun with your besties! I went here for my bachelorette trip in 2019, but I’d go and recreate the trip for a girls’ trip any time. The weather is HOT, the beaches are BEAUTIFUL, and there’s more to do than you could ever imagine. I’d say there’s something for everyone in Miami, so you can’t go wrong choosing this as one of your destinations.

Spring Break Abroad

Are you wanting to leave the United States for your Spring Break trip? I’d suggest Europe because the flights don’t take too long, but I’d only recommend if you have a week or more to travel.

London, England

London is a great location for travelers because not only is it an iconic place to visit, but they also speak English. This can be a great comfort to new travelers who may be wary about getting around in a new country if they haven’t traveled abroad before. The robust train networks makes renting a car a non-essential which will save you money and a headache because in England they drive on the left side of the road. You can read about my girl’s trip to London here.

Venice, Italy

If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a solo trip, or a trip with friends, I can speak from experience that you can’t go wrong with Venice. It’s easy to fly to and short train distances away from other amazing cities like Verona, Milan, and Florence. All of Northern Italy is a sight to see and an experience to behold. The food, wine, and history is sure to make you want to never leave!

I hope this helped you narrow down your Spring Break destination search. I’d love to connect with you more on social media. Follow & DM me on Instagram for quick responses!
