Top 3 Wineries in Napa Valley, California

Napa Valley, California. Home of wine country in the United States. Perfect location for a California girls trip.

In early April 2022 me and two of my girlfriends decided to visit Napa Valley, California for a long weekend. We thought that 4 days was a perfect length of time. After lots of review, we created our 4 Day Napa Valley Itinerary. Below you will find a list of our 3 favorite wineries from the trip.

Alpha Omega Winery

Alpha Omega Winery is a beautiful winery located in St. Helena. The views are breathtaking with an outstanding fountain and reflection pond. Weather permitting, we recommend that you ask to have your wine tasting outside in this relaxing atmosphere. They offer a variety of tastings ranging from $75-$150 per person. We opted for the signature selection flight and were delighted at the exquisite tastes of the wines we sampled. The servers are fantastic wine experts who shared so much information with us about these incredible wines.

Beringer Vineyards

Beringer Vineyards needs to be on your list of wineries to visit because it is iconic in the U.S. wine industry. It is the oldest continuously operating winery in California. The reason for this is that during Prohibition in the United States, Beringer was permitted by the state of California to continue making wine for the Catholic Church. There are SO many tasting options to choose from. I really don’t think you can go wrong here, but we chose to do the Legacy Indoor Tasting. We booked the last tasting of the afternoon and got a lot of personalized attention by our server, plus a few extra wines to try. You can explore the grounds before or after a tasting and see just why everyone in Napa loves Beringer Vineyards.

Domaine Carneros

Domaine Carneros is exactly what you think of when you think, “Vineyard in Napa Valley.” Known for their sparkling wines and Pinot Noir, if you’re like me then this place has to be on your list! You can choose from tastings of either sparking flights only or a mix of sparkling and Pinot Noir. In addition to the wine tasting, they offer tasty bites to enhance the experience. My friends and I decided to add a meat & cheese board and a caviar flight to our experience. It was delicious, extravagant, and exactly how we wanted to spend our last day in Napa Valley.
