The Ultimate Guide to Cape San Blas, Florida
If you’re in need of a little R&R, we highly recommend you get lost in the emerald water and white sand beaches of Cape San Blas, Florida. This little known area is the perfect getaway for couples, families, or friends. What does the Cape have to offer? Read below to find out.
Fishing and Boating
Cape San Blas has some of the best water for fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. We took our family’s boat out for some fun in the sun one day. A few other days, the boys went fishing and never returned empty-handed.
Indian Pass Raw Bar
You’ll find in Indian Pass, just off the Cape, an amazing Raw Bar. Not only is the food fantastic, but the experience is fun! Since the 1930’s Indian Pass Raw Bar has run on the honors system. That means that you take a tab when you get there and keep up with the drinks you drink and food you order. We would definitely recommend their stuffed shrimp!
Rent Bikes
Cape San Blas is lined with a bike lane. This means that you can rent bikes for the week and explore, visit the local trading post, or get an ice cream in a relaxing, low-key way.
Trading Post
No need to drive off the cape to get your vacation essentials. There is a trading post a few miles down the cape that has everything from groceries to clothing to delicious pizza! The staff is very welcoming.
Fires on the Beach
There’s really nothing better than digging a hole in the sand, dropping some firewood, and starting a fire while you watch the sun set. Grab your firewood and s’mores essentials from the Trading Post and you’re set for a relaxing night with friends and family.
Bring your pups
Our very favorite thing about Cape San Blas, Florida is that we can bring our sweet dog! This dog friendly beach asks that you keep your dog on a leash, and pick up their waste. Daisy, our dog, always goes for swims, though.
We hope you enjoy beautiful CSB!
