First of all taking a boat tour, regardless of where you’re going, is essential when you’re visiting an island (at least in our opinion). But what if you could take a boat tour that showed you a place you otherwise would never see because you can’t drive there? That makes it even more of a must-do.
Ang Thong National Marine Park is made up of 42 gorgeous islands and interesting landforms. We stayed in Koh Samui & had a bus pick us up from our hotel and drive us to the harbor. The tour we took allowed us to sea kayak in caves and snorkel in the most fish-infested water I’ve ever seen. It was truly incredible! They even had safe snorkeling equipment for people who didn’t feel proficient as swimmers. Ask about this, though, if you want to snorkel, but are uncomfortable without more support. The views were so beautiful & made such great memories for us on our trip. We did not take our cameras kayaking. In hindsight I wish I would’ve because it was so gorgeous.
Our tour also included breakfast, lunch, a snack, and drinks. Alcoholic drinks were available by purchase. I would recommend that your bring cash with you to the tour. The boat ride was very comfortable and the food was fantastic. It really made for a great day in Thailand.
