My Favorite Luggage for Carry-on Travel

I like to think of myself as, “The Queen of Carry-on Packing.” I swear by only bringing a carry-on for trips because it makes your life so much easier! The only exception to this rule for me would be if you were going to stay in one location, at one lodging accommodation, for the entirety of your trip. Even still, though, checked bags get heavy and if the wheel or handle of your suitcase breaks you’re out of luck.

Below you will find my favorite carry-on items for travel. I hope they bring you as much ease as they bring me!

My Favorite Carry-on Backpack

As I stated earlier, rolling luggage can cause a nightmare if it breaks. I prefer a backpack for this reason. The eBags Mother Lode Travel Backpack has been my go-to travel backpack since 2015. I bought my original eBags backpack before Harry and I took a 2 week Euro trip. This bag is so spacious, yet it can be carried on your back and stored easily in overhead luggage storage on airplanes. I’ve even had instances where I’ve had to put it under the seat in front of me while transiting the continental USA. The backpack straps can be removed and zipped inside if you prefer to do so. It is fantastic because it has the convenience of a backpack, but the storage layout of a suitcase. This is a win-win for travelers!

The Best Packing Cubes

Speaking of eBags products, we also love our eBags packing cubes. Packing cubes are handy because they keep your luggage stored tightly, but also in an organized fashion. This is especially great when you’re traveling to several locations on one trip. I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t stand for my dirty clothes to touch my clean clothes. With packing cubes, I can keep them separated from one destination to the other. If you need to grab a new pair of socks, you won’t have to dig through your case to find what you need because your packing cubes will keep everything organized!

The Best Toiletry Bag

Do not let yourself get stressed over toiletry bags! These are TSA approved & come in a variety of colors. You can use it not only for your toiletries, but your makeup as well. Since they come in a pack of 5, they make great gifts for your traveling buddies, too! They do not handle being stretched to their limits too many times, though, so be gentle with them.
