The Top Reasons You Should Take a Boat Tour in Split, Croatia

We love Croatia! There’s really no place on Earth quite like it. While Split is a popular tourist destination for many European and American travelers, it still remains uncrowded compared to big cities like Rome and Vienna. It is easy to relax while strolling along the streets, listening to music in the square, sunbathing on the beach, or swimming in the Adriatic Sea. You could easily spend your entire holiday in Split alone; however, we think you should experience some of the other Croatian islands. The best way to do that is by boat! Now chartering your own yacht for the holiday would be ideal, but if you’ve booked your…

24 Hours in Vienna, Austria Itinerary

I want to start this post by emphasizing that 24 hours is not enough time to fully explore Vienna. The city is rich in history and museums, so we will be back in the future for a longer stay. Below is a guide to make the most out of your Viennese experience should you have only scheduled one day for travel or found yourself with a long layover in Vienna. 3 Days in Okrug, Croatia Itinerary

Lauren embarked on a 10 day girls’ Eurotrip with Harry’s mum and sister. Before we began our journey, we met in London to pick up Harry’s sister, Becky. As mentioned in an earlier post, she studied abroad at Oxford University. Harry’s mom and I took the Tube, London’s train system, from London Heathrow Airport to Kings Cross Station. After picking up Becky, we took the Gatwick Express train to Gatwick Airport and stayed the night at the Travelodge airport hotel. We found that the hotel room was lacking things such as soap, and our air conditioning had broken during the night. At the time, London was experiencing a heatwave which made this…

2 Days in Oxford, England Itinerary

Harry decided to join some of his friends in Europe to celebrate his graduation; however, he wouldn’t meet up with them until May 19 in Berlin, Germany. Harry’s sister, Becky, is studying abroad in Oxford, England through the UGA at Oxford program, so Harry decided to visit her there. Tuesday- Harry flew into London Heathrow Airport and took a bus to Oxford. After dropping his bags at his Airbnb, he quickly made his way to the UGA at Oxford house to visit Becky. As he walked around Oxford and saw Keble College he was amazed at its beauty. He was equally as impressed with the lawn as he was about…
