If you’ve ever wanted to visit Prague, I can’t say enough great things about it! Harry went about a month ago, and I just left. It superseded both of our expectations. The Czech Republic is not only beautiful, but very affordable for Americans because the exchange rate is so low. 3 Days in Okrug, Croatia Itinerary
Lauren embarked on a 10 day girls’ Eurotrip with Harry’s mum and sister. Before we began our journey, we met in London to pick up Harry’s sister, Becky. As mentioned in an earlier post, she studied abroad at Oxford University. Harry’s mom and I took the Tube, London’s train system, from London Heathrow Airport to Kings Cross Station. After picking up Becky, we took the Gatwick Express train to Gatwick Airport and stayed the night at the Travelodge airport hotel. Our Weekend in San Francisco, CA
Harry and I knew we wanted to plan a weekend trip somewhere in June because we had earned a free night’s stay through the hotels.com rewards program. After much discussion we decided on San Francisco. I had never been to California and some cool weather sounded like a nice break from sweltering Georgia. We hopped on an early morning flight the next day and arrived in San Fran around 10:45 a.m. We took BART, the public transportation system, from the airport to downtown for $10 a person. Harry decided to join some of his friends in Europe to celebrate his graduation; however, he wouldn’t meet up with them until May 19 in Berlin, Germany. Harry’s sister, Becky, is studying abroad in Oxford, England through the UGA at Oxford program, so Harry decided to visit her there.
