Who I am
Hello, I’m Lauren!
Hi! I’m Lauren Slimming of Traveling Teacher Mama. What started originally as a travel blog called Brit+Belle Travel has evolved to encompass all of my passions in life: travel, teaching, and momming. I have been traveling obsessively since 2014 and have so much content and tips to offer you so you can travel to destinations you may have otherwise thought impossible!
I have been an elementary school teacher since 2015 & nominated for Teacher of the Year 4 times! All of this to say I have a wealth of knowledge to share with you fellow teachers on this blog, as well as resources on my TPT storefront. Mommies reading may also find this content helpful when parenting your children & helping them as they learn and grow! I also am obsessed with finding stylish outfits that work both at school and at home, so you’ll find lots of teacher outfit inspiration, too.
Last, but most certainly not least- I am a mom-to-be! I am experiencing my first pregnancy with Baby Slimming due in July 2023. It is my hope to connect with other moms to share all things pregnancy related & take you on my parenting journey with me & my sweet husband, Harry! It’s been so fun to learn about pregnancy, baby development, and find out what maternity fashion makes me feel most “me.” I’ve enjoyed sharing those tips with you guys, too.
